米政府（商務省）は、国家安全保障上の懸念から一時的にアクセスが停止されていたAnthropicの強力なサイバーセキュリティ特化型AIモデル「Claude Mythos 5」について、重要インフラの運営や防衛を担う米国内の一部組織への限定的なアクセス再開（再配置）を承認しました。
1. 100以上の米国内組織への再配置
アクセスが認められたのは、主要企業や政府機関を含む100以上の米国内組織とされています。2026年6月12日、中国関連グループへの技術流出懸念やモデルが「脱獄」されるリスクから、米政府の指示で「Claude Mythos 5」および一般向け派生モデル「Fable 5」のアクセスが一時全面停止されていました。
2. 安全基準の合意
商務長官から送られた書簡によれば、「信頼できるパートナーにアクセスを許可する適切な安全対策（セーフガード）が講じられている」と判断されました。Anthropicは過去2週間にわたり政府と毎日協議を重ね、プロトコルや基準の策定で合意に至りました。一般向けの「Fable 5」の再開に向けても政府と交渉を継続中とされています。
今回の限定的な再配置の承認は、AIモデルの安全性や軍事悪用リスクに対して政府が強い監視権限を行使する一方、安全対策が満たされればインフラ防御などの重要用途へ迅速に復帰できるという前例を示しました。AIエージェントの安全性監査と国家安全保障のバランスをめぐる重要なマイルストーンとなります。
