NVIDIAは、2027年度第1四半期（2026年2月～4月期）の財務決算を発表し、過去最高となる81.6億ドル（前年同期比85%増、前四半期比20%増）の売上高を達成した。特にデータセンター部門の売上高が75.2億ドル（前年同期比92%増）と驚異的な成長を記録し、業績全体を大きく牽引している。

CEOのジェンスン・フアン氏は、この劇的な需要拡大の背景について、自律的にタスクを実行する「自律型AI（Agentic AI）の時代が本格的に到来したため」と強調した。NVIDIAの提供するGPUインフラは、企業の自律型エージェント開発や、先日公開された大規模なオープンソースモデルなどのトレーニング・推論において不可欠な土台となっている。
