OpenAIは、ChatGPTの新しいデフォルトモデルとしてGPT-5.5 Instantの提供を開始しました。医療、法律、財務などの専門分野におけるハルシネーション（事実誤認）を、前モデルであるGPT-5.3 Instantと比較して52.5%削減したと発表しています。

より簡潔で要点を得た回答を行うよう調整され、不要な絵文字の使用を控えるようになりました。さらに、DALL-Eシリーズの後継となるChatGPT Images 2も発表されています。

これはネイティブ・マルチモーダル設計を採用し、推論レイヤーに直接統合されたことで、より複雑なプロンプトの理解と高精細な2K解像度の画像生成が可能になっています。そのほか、カスタマーサポートや翻訳向けのリアルタイム音声モデルなども導入されています。
